I’ve designed and built data, cloud, and application platforms inside large organizations, where the stack has to hold beyond the demo.

That deserves some context.

THE EXPERIENCE

CAE

Data & AI platform: catalog, metadata-driven pipelines, automated quality, K8s orchestration, SOC 2-aligned consumption on Databricks.

MTY FOOD GROUP

Platform Architect: architecture of the data and AI platform and related applications.

QUANTUMIZE AI

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer. AI-native platforms: strategic intent → technical execution.

POLYTECHNIQUE · PHYSICS ENGINEERING

B.Eng. in Physics Engineering. Nearly a decade in data, cloud, app, and AI platforms.

STACK

Kubernetes, Databricks, Azure, Terraform, Python, C#/.NET, DataOps, governance.

I’m Hugo Paquet, Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of Quantumize AI, based in Montreal. The through-line in my work is designing and building data, AI, and application platforms that teams can actually operate.

At CAE, I led design and delivery of a data management and governance platform. Catalog, acquisition, ingestion, quality, exploration, all anchored in metadata. Orchestrated on Kubernetes, secure consumption on Databricks.

The stack is rarely the real blocker. Operating it is.

I also drove prioritization of platform capabilities with engineering teams, so the design didn’t stay on a whiteboard. Architecture without build isn’t architecture.

At MTY Food Group, I architected the data and AI platform for a multi-banner group, and the applications that consume it. The hard part was making that data actionable through app surfaces instead of just available in a lake.

The CAE and MTY work was delivered in prior operating roles, before Quantumize AI.

Earlier at CAE Rise, I built Python and C#/.NET microservices, near-real-time analytics, and Azure infrastructure, working right next to operations. Platforms make more sense close to the field.

Today, with Quantumize AI (quantumizeai.com), we’re building AI platforms that shrink the distance between intent and technical execution.

Platforms that hold. Not projects that evaporate.
